Welcome to our Reception Resourced Provision page!
- We pride ourselves in the therapeutic, inclusive environment that is purposefully planned for each individual child in our setting and supported by a passionate, dedicated and driven team.
- Our classroom explores a sensory curriculum and one that focuses on the prime areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and the development of social communication skills. Learning is personalised to children through high quality interactions, intensive interactions and the targets and provision set out in each child’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
- Teachers, Miss Campbell and Mrs McCarthy work in collaboration to ensure that provision in our classrooms is carefully considered to support the needs of the children as reflected in their EHCP’s and these are used to inform planning.
- Our SENCO, Mrs Dinning and Miss Campbell continuously strive to create an early years environment that seamlessly blends inclusive adaptability with targeted SEND support.
- Our Resourced Provision consists of two classrooms and a shared outdoor space, shared indoor/ outdoor canopy and shared sensory room. Our capacity is 12 children within each classroom.
- With a number of highly skilled staff, we have invested in our Resourced Provision having two experienced Early Years teachers and high-level ratio of staff to children with an additional 3 teaching assistants in each classroom.
- Our environment and practice reflect a total communication approach as we support children whose primary area of need is communication and interaction.
