Year 2 2024 - 2025
Miss Ellis
Miss Stables
Welcome to Year Two
The Year Two team this year is Miss Ellis and Miss Bradford
We are so excited about the school year ahead, and we promise to make this year as fun and as exciting as we possibly can!
Our current PE day is Monday and children should attend school in their PE kits. As the weather begins to turn cooler we recommend they wear tracksuit bottoms and hoodies to keep them warm throughout the day.
Year Two children will be using the Forest School on alternate Fridays. We recommend they bring in a pair of wellies or old trainers to change into, as the woodland area can be very muddy.
We will be sending Read Write Inc. story books or Accelerated Reader books home with your children every Friday. Please ensure that you send their bookbag in on this day.
We hold Read With Me/Talk With Me sessions every Monday from 8.45-9.00am. Family members and carers are very welcome to attend.
Make sure you are logged into the Dojo app where you can access Class Dojo, School Dojo and individual messages to keep up to date with your child's learning and school activities.

Attendance Matters!
We are here to support you with your child's attendance. We will be displaying our class charts to encourage the children to record when they are in school. Remember to contact the school office if your child won't be in school on the first day of absence.
Attending school every day will:
give your child the best possible start in life
allow them to experience new and exciting things
help them to discover their talents and realise their potential
provide them with the skills to make and keep new friends
School are available to provide help and advice for any family and ask that you contact is if you feel that you would benefit from such support.
