First Aid
Our children in Year 1 learn basic first aid skills, in Years 5 and 6 children learn further skills including CPR.
Moneysense
Natwest MoneySense workshop are led by Natwest bank volunteers who use their skills and experience to help our children to make sense of money.The workshops focus on a real-life financial situations to enable children to learn about the role money plays in their lives including how to keep it safe, choices about spending or saving money and what influences those choices.
Super smoothie shop
This workshop introduces children to the concepts of enterprise, buying, selling and budgeting in a series of group activities involving setting up a smoothie shop.
Save our pennies, save our planet
This workshop engages children with ways to save money through choosing more environmentally friendly behaviours in the home. Children learn about the benefits of renewable energy and explore daily activities that use a lot of energy.
Fraud scene investigators
This workshop requires children to help solve a fraud which has been committed against their friend. They are then asked to create and present a report warning others of the dangers of identity theft and fraud.
