Outdoors

Having the opportunity to learn both indoors and out is an essential part of learning for children. We encourage all learners to access outdoor environments to promote a broad and creative curriculum in order to enhance learning opportunties. 

Children have access to the forest area where thay can explore and discover habitats, develop a sense of responsibility, plant and harvest vegetables and learn to use tools to name just a few!

Opportunities to use the climbing frames and outdoor apparatus supports SEND learners with their proprioceptive and vestibular senses. 

Movement and physical activity is encouraged during lessons to support SEND learners and aid engagement and focus.
